Don McNeill pitches the You’ve been Sentenced! word game on The Tonight Show

June 8, 2009

Delaware-based game developer Donald McNeill recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to promote his newest game “You’ve been Sentenced!” McNeill was filmed earlier this month during The Toy and Game Inventor’s Forum held in Orlando, Florida. The segment was used in Leno’s popular “Pitch to America” series.

The “Pitch to America” series gives real-life inventors an opportunity to nationally showcase their latest, greatest, and sometimes zaniest inventions. At the end of each “pitch” the studio audience is asked to vote on whether the invention was “Sold” or “Not Sold” to a major toy and game company. “You’ve been Sentenced!” received a resounding “Sold.”

“I guess I’ve had my ‘15 minutes of fame,’” says McNeill. “The Tonight Show reaches 8 million viewers, who now all know about ‘You’ve been Sentenced!’”
